Stress & Burnout

The coaching that I propose to you comes from my personal experience and my professional practice: besides my double training at the Paris CNAM in the teams of Christophe DEJOURS, Yves CLOT and Marie PEZE, I myself experienced a burn- stern out that earned me two years off work. I was in a job in which I was recognized and appreciated. Only those who have lived it know what it really is, because even the close entourage does not realize this inner distress. For me, burnout is a symptom of a dissonance between the way we are built with the situation encountered at work or in our professional or personal relationships.

So, I help you understand what made you switch to this state. I accompany you to come out and build a life project that better reflects your values and your deep professional and personal aspirations. Your vulnerability becomes an asset. Not only will you regain your psychic health, your vital energy and your joie de vivre, but as a bonus you will find yourself on a path that is probably very different from the previous one.

On the other hand, if the burnout that you are experiencing is not an isolated case in the company that employs you, it is often the symptom of an organization and / or deleterious working relationships for health, yours and that of your colleagues. We also work in partnership with companies even in the case of individual consultations because they do not always have all the details of the toxic dynamics that they can sometimes host without their knowledge. Do not hesitate to ask our help, it is a solution of positive evolution for all, individuals and companies.

We also help companies reduce and prevent these risks by collectively co-building relationships and a quality work organization.

In order to (re) find your health at all levels or to prevent the setting up of this type of deleterious professional situation, I propose two complete development programs called Integrative Dynamics of Work and Integrative Dynamics of Health.

An example of my coachings in the Burn-out:

Question: My daughter was 24 years old when she burned, we had to hospitalize her under duress for 15 days in the hospital, she finally stayed 6 months in psychiatry. After she left, she relapsed, then spent two months in a clinic where the care is considered better because more care. She looked better, went back to work, then cracked again. Since she saw a psychiatrist, a psychologist, a sophrologist, a reflexologist, made the day hospital. She seemed to get better, then relapsed again after 18 months. His therapist (who does CBT) offers a new hospitalization or try to continue his life without further consultation. We feel helpless and we would like to change our mind but we do not know where to turn; That’s why I come to see you, two and a half years after the first events.

Reply: Western classical medicine is not enough to cure burn-out … The immediate indication is to stop the activities that caused the burn out; they may be related to a part of professional or personal activities. Being accompanied helps you discover the origin of the distortion between your individual construction and your over-adaptation in the situation that caused your exhaustion. I help you find the way out by detaching this entanglement psychically, physically, emotionally, energetically and spiritually with the 3 individual, collective and organizational systems. You will be able to arrange and reorganize your life accordingly. We must also look for the side of the organization because an employee who burns out is also the symptom of a dysfunction of the organization, especially since there are several burn-outs in the same organization. Often, if there is a case of burn-out in a service, there are / will have had / will certainly other that the working practices have not been changed in depth. As a psychopathologist at work, I activate the multidisciplinary protocol with your permission, that is to say that I contact the doctor and / or treating psychiatrist, the occupational doctor and your director of human resources, sometimes the legal advisers. The simultaneous action of all these professionals makes it possible to find the best solution for everyone.

Protocol and result: I followed my client for two months, including 3 long sessions face to face spaced each 2 to 3 weeks, about 2 years and a half after the first episodes. Between the 2nd and 3rd sessions, she moved to settle alone (she was still living with her parents). Six months after the third session, she found work in another sector and in a profession that excludes activities that cause burn-out.

What she says 3 years after the first episode: Since we met, I gained confidence, it allowed me to cross a course, as if I had been released from a weight. I found an apartment, a new job that suits me better. The pace is not easy after so much stop (almost 3 years ..), but I hang on. Things are in order, I’m finally on the right direction, everything is finally in the right direction … Before my burn-out? … I kept everything to myself, I was very withdrawn, I kept all the problems until the day everything explodes, as if my body had been in one place and my spirit elsewhere.
